Faris Mughal born in the city of Pakistan called Quetta.
Teacher by Profession.
He did an MA in Social work & MA Education from Balochistan University.
Achievement as a writer/ Poet:
His first book as a poet is a collection of poems titled " Surkh Honton Ki Kunj Gali Main سرخ ہونٹوں کی کنج گلی میں" published in 2017.
His novel " Humjan ہمجان " was first published in the year 2012. Its second edition emerged again in 2017.
* His second novel " Sau Saal Wafa سو سال وفا" was published in 2018.
* As a short story writer his collection named " Akhri Lafz آخری لفظ" was published in 2020.
Faris's work has been published in several magazines in Pakistan & India.

During his tenure at an F.M radio station between 2003- 2005, he wrote several stories that received critical acclaim by literary circles.
As a columnist 
Several articles penned by him have been published in different newspapers highlighting social issues of the country.
As a dramatist 
Written many dramas for theater and some received provincial awards as well.
As a philanthropist 
Runs an NGO that caters to the welfare of persons with special needs.
